The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
